Crystorama Presents Retailer of the Year Award

Hortons Home Lighting of Illinois was recognized today during the Dallas International Lighting Market as the winner of Crystorama's annual Retailer of the Year Award based on the company's success in retail merchandising and sales.

"The key to our success is the way that the Hortons team works together toward a common goal," said John Rot, president of Hortons. "Our administrative and warehouse associates provide the structural foundation for our success while our management and sales teams provide merchandising and customer service at levels that set us apart."

The Illinois-based retailer has three locations in Chicago, La Grange, and Orland Park. Crystorama selected Hortons for the award based on its active promotion of the Crystorama brand and accompanying sales growth.

Hortons traces its roots to 1896 when the company was founded as an electrical contracting business by Richard Horton. The company has evolved over the years to include an Ace Hardware Store and showrooms that feature home furnishings and decorative accessories. The company created the H Foundation in 2001 and has raised $4.5 million for cancer research.
